Anna PIOTROWSKA (PL)
Doctor of Arts, choreographer, director, contemporary dance teacher, dancer and performer, as well the founder and president of the eferte_Dance Development Foundation in Warsaw. Nowadays she is the Deputy Dean of Dance Theatre Department in Bytom at the National Academy of Theatre Arts in Cracow and director of Rozbark Theatre in Bytom.
She was the founder and artistic director of “mufmi” dance theatre in Warsaw (1995). Since 1996 she has created over 120 performances.
Teacher of contemporary dance, improvisation, dance composition, forms and structures of dance theatre. She leads her own education program “process and creation of a character in dance theatre” and lately together with Anna Duda she is building the method which is called “dualism of onebodyspacerecognizer”. She received diploma of professional dancer, granted by Polish Actors Association and she got the master’s degree in management in 2002. Twice she was awarded in Budapest at the SzólóDuó International Dance Festival (2005/2006 – the best solo and the best duo in one year). She’s been organizing the Polish edition of Festival SoloDuo in Budapest – till now 16 editions. She has worked with several dance companies and theaters, as the Silesian Dance Theater, Polish Dance Theater, Hungarian Art of Movement Company, Samovar Theater, Miskolci Ballet, the Wrocław Mime Theater and many others.
In September 2015 she received twice main awards at two monodram’s theatre festivals: Grand Prix in Warsaw and Audience Prize in Koszalin with her performance dedicated to the great Artist – Tadeusz Kantor. She received the Gold Mask 2016, the theatre prize for the whole artistic activity in ROZBARK Theatre in season 2015, In 2017 Piotrowska was among others the jury member of Solo Dance Contest in Gdańsk (2017), she coached also two artistic residencies in Gdańsk Dance Festival.
In 2018 she received the Main Prize in ShakespeareOFF theatre festival for the performance “bless the king…” In 2021 she received the first prize at the XIII Tyski Festival of Monodram MOTYF Tychy 2021 for the performance “Polowanie na sarnę”.
In her artistic thinking, she is interested in improvisation and body & mind awareness as a tool of mutual observation, she researches the relation of the objective body in onebody space. Piotrowska is interested in process work discovering among others the tools of creating dramatic texts, creating the characters in dance theatre and work with states of mind, emotions and imagination.
Britta LIEBERKNECHT (D)
Britta relates dance to other media in her performance since ’79. After a classical dance education in Germany she studied acting, singing and contemporary dance in NYC with the protagonist artists of the 80s like Trisha Brown, Meredith Monk, Merce Cunningham, Stark-Smith/ Paxton a.m.o. Dancer with PLAN K – Frédéric Flamand in Brussels. Since ’92 based in Cologne she experiments with dance, arts and music in many collaborations.
In 2013 she founded the company “Britta Lieberknecht & Company” focusing the interpretation of Old and New Music through dance. She collaborates regularly with “Theater Monteure” for young audiences. Member of the performance art network PAErsche. Based on physiotherapy, the Feldenkrais Method and BMC she creates her teaching form “Dance Your Anatomy”.
Her work has been presented at many int. festivals like documenta 9, Akademie der Künste Berlin, The Place Theater London, VIPER Luzern (CH), Opéra de Lille (F), Charleroi Danse (B), Dies de Dansa Barcelona, ACHTBRÜCKEN Musik Köln etc., winner of the Cologne Dancetheatre Award.
BODOR Johanna (H)
Johanna Bodor graduated from the Ballet Institute of Bucharest in 1984. She moved to Hungary in 1985, where she became the member of the Honvéd Dance Company first, than the Ballet Company of Győr. Later she joined the Szeged Contemporary Dance Company lead by Zoltán Imre, here she danced as a soloist and she also got to work next to foreign chorographers as an assistant.
From 1994 she was working as a choreographer, dancer, actress, and teacher in Hungary and abroad as well, for instance in Knoxvill, St, Petersurg, Kolozsvár, Bucharest, Szabadka, and Komárom. By now she created more that 150 choreography, she participated in many movie-, theater-, and tv productions. She says the small, experimental pieces have just as much importance as pieces in theaters or stadiums.
She has been a leading chorographer of more large theater over the years, most recently she was the ballet director of Budapest Operetta Theater. Although typically she is returning to be a freelancer again and again.
Her autobiographical book “Doesn’t matter, I will understand” was released in 2014, it was also translated into polish.

DEZSŐ Virág (H/ NL)
Modern Mime with a strong dance background, coach. Teacher (physical acting and Musicality of Movement/MoM) at MAPA the Moving Academy for Performing Arts, Amsterdam University of the Arts / Conservatorium of Amsterdam, University of Debrecen and from 2021 in Codarts and Seilberee. Founder and artistic leader of Mozgás-Teátrum Association for contemporary dance/movement theatre in Debrecen, dancer at 1More Movement Theater (H), later at the Hungarian Art-of-Movement Company (H). Since 2009 she is located in the Netherlands, Amsterdam and took over the artistic leadership of MAPA and created the laboratory theatre, Studio MAPA Nederland and recently the new online educational platform PhysicalTheatreTraining. She is constantly developing her approach MoM / Musicality of Movement for musicians, music-theatre performers, real time composers-performers, dancers. Currently performing her solos, creating music-theatre productions for the youngest audience.
